Summertime Favorite Recipe: Savory Balsamic Asparagus

This Savory Balsamic Asparagus recipe is one of my all time favorites. It is easy to prepare and combines balsamic vinegar (I prefer aged balsamic vinegar which has a smooth, rich flavor) with in season asparagus.

Savory Balsamic Asparagus

  • 2 lb. asparagus, trimmed
  • 30 sprays I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spray Original
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Arrange asparagus in roasting pan; evenly spray with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spray Original. Roast 15 minutes or until asparagus are crisp-tender. Drizzle with vinegar and season with salt and pepper. Serve warm or at room temperature.
