The sleek new iPod nano helps you reach your walking or running goals with a built in accelerometer that counts your steps. The catch: you still need to buy the iPod Sport Kit and Nike+ shoes. Together these will tell you your time, distance, pace and give you an estimate of calories burned.
Anyone who wants to increase the length of their physical activity and their speed, may find this beneficial. To boost your intensity, my favorite is still the Polar heart rate monitor. How do you know what steady state is or rest assured that your intervals are hitting their mark unless you have one of these? On some gym machines you can grasp the heart rate monitor pads and get a reading but that’s just a tad bit difficult when going full speed on the treadmill.
Anything that helps people monitor their daily activity is a bonus. It may also be really enlightening for people that feel that that do enough exercise to see exactly how much/little they actively do.Lincoln Brydenhttp://fatlosscommunity.com
