How many times do I hear people tell me that they can’t eat right because they travel? Give me a break. Aside from the fact that there are a million different calorie counting websites (just google “calories” or “nutrition info” and the restaurant you are thinking of going to), many restaurants even have cute little symbols beside their food telling you what is healthy (no symbol, not so good for your belly).
Come on now, you know ignorance isn’t bliss. So at least quit pretending. Especially if you have an iphone or blackberry. You can practically navigate a plane with one of those devices and some of you are updating your twitter and facebook status every 5 minutes so there has to be a way to find a healthy restaurant via your phone.
And there is! Check out: http://www.goodfoodnearyou.com/ a website that automatically detects your location (if you have an iphone or blackberry with GPS) and gives you the lowest calorie menu selections of the closest 20 restaurants. You can also use this website on your computer (just enter your zip) or on a handheld without a GPS but with internet.
Check this out people!!
